About Me…
I am Jaden
I am a gay and transgender man, and a settler of European descent living in Vancouver, BC on the unceded, ancestral, traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ /Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. In December 2023, I experienced an accident in the mountains, and became an above knee amputee. Thanks to the tools of yoga and mindfulness I have learned, I was well-situated to approach my healing with resilience.
I am passionate about helping others uncover their well-being through mindfulness and embodiment practices that settle and strengthen the nervous system and body-mind connection. One shared aspect of the human condition is that we each face unique adversities in life, yet we also have a remarkable capacity to heal if equipped with the right conditions, tools, and care. I am committed to helping others through this process of recognizing their strengths.
It is with great honour and reverence for yoga’s roots, and respect for each individual whom I work with, that I impart it to others. I am grateful to my many teachers, ancient and new, who have shared their wisdom and wealth of understanding with me.
